- Tyne & Esk writers' bookstall at the Lennoxlove Book Festival, 13th & 14th November. CWP authors' books on the stall include
David C Purdie, Mary Johnston, Jo Gibson, Anna Dickie, Donald McKinney, and Gerry Urwin.

- A section from Dave Purdie's The Godothin was selected as the Scottish Arts Council's
Scots poem of the month for August and September.
- Kevin Cadwallender's Dog Latin was published in October 2009.
- A Muse To Amuse, humorous poetry by Gerry Urwin, was published in September
- Lyn Moir's Easterly, Force 10, will be published on 28th October
- Jane Wilde's Words, words, words will be published in early December 2009
- Anna Dickie was joint runner-up in the National Galleries of Scotland 2009 Poetry competition.
- Calder Wood Press titles are selling well online, and the PayPal link on the Sales page is popular with buyers.
