Location
The Walled Garden can be reached on foot from the Nungate area of Haddington via the road to the Golf Club, and continuing along the footpath beyond the club house. An alternative route by foot is along the path on the north bank of the river Tyne, crossing the river at the Abbey Bridge, and entering the Park by the east gate. The garden can be reached by car from the minor road which is the first turning right in the A199 after leaving Haddington. The garden cannot be reached from the A1.
The East Gate to Amisfield Park is just to the south of Abbey Bridge. The Walled garden lies to the left a short distance inside the Park.
Amisfield Park lies on the outskirts of Haddington in East Lothian. Haddington is 20 miles east of Edinburgh, close to the A1 main road.
